So put down your knitting, your book or your broom, and come to the Cabaret…
On arrival in Edinburgh you need to register to attend the event. We have some new times and places for that, please check the details below. This year’s theme is Cabaret, and all the camp indulgence that comes with it! Here is all you need to know. Thursday night at Leith Arches is our new larger welcome venue, as the Thursday night continues to grow in popularity. A chilled out start to the weekend! Friday night at CC Blooms, this is the night that you might want to dress up to match the theme of Cabaret - fishnets, eyeliner, braces, harnesses, hoochy-daddy shorts & sock suspenders – wear as much or a little as you like. We are proudly body positive and inclusive – This is a safe space, so just have fun with it! Saturday night at The Caves, and the theme is our classic “kilts oan, tops aff”. It gets hot and sweaty with all that dancing so we have a large cloak check on site, as well as a large chill out space with seating and quieter music – and don’t forget the warm pie for the walk home. Sunday night in the Regent, this is where we all relax after the Cabaret at Ghillie Dhu, this event is now private for ticket holders only, and still the perfect way to wind down the weekend And new this year, Steamworks Sauna is open 24 hours over the weekend, and you get discounted access for each visit with you dog-tag – why not pop along after CCs or The Caves if you are not yet sleepy!! At registration we will give you a full welcome pack with all these times listed and map of all the venues. Don't forget, you can also download our handy weekend schedule with all the timings and locations for the weekend, and store it on your phone! The event fully sold out in less than an hour this year, which is amazing and we feel very loved, but that does mean that no tickets will be available at the door at any of venues. The Saturday add-on activities are also fully sold out, and only available if you pre-ordered your place when booking your weekend ticket, so don’t try and smuggle anything more than a budgie into the pool!! You will receive a separate email with all the details you need about any add-on activity you have booked. We are here to help over the weekend, so if you need anything or just want to talk to a friendly face, please just ask! Our volunteers will be at every venue and are easily identifiable with our red t-shirts. We also have a strict No Bullying policy, please read our code of conduct below! And remember BSF isn’t Folsom, so please act appropriately inside and outside our venues. We are really looking forward to seeing you, and we know you are all going to have an amazing weekend!
