Registration & Welcome Desk LGBT Centre 60 Broughton Street Edinburgh Scotland EH1 3SA United Kingdom Map and Directions
Come join us in Edinburgh, Scotland’s beautiful capital city, for our 12th annual BearScotFest weekend!
Following on from the previous few years' successful events we are hoping that BearScotFest 2013 will be bigger than ever though still as friendly and fun-filled.
As last year, you can pick up your registration and information packs from our Welcome Desk in the basement of the LGBT Centre at 60a Broughton Street, underneath the Nom de Plume Cafe from midday on Friday.
As always our home-base pub is Dublin Street’s New Town Bar, hosted by Jimmy, Steven and the team of lovely boys, who will be providing a very warm welcome to the BearScotFest furballs throughout the weekend.
The programme this year is again packed with things old and new: As in previous years we have our chilled-out brunches, friendly host pub, the ever-popular UnderBears Party; Steamy Bears Sauna at Steamworks, and our charity fundraiser raffle in aid of Gay Men's Health. Add to this, our fantastic exclusive Bearscots-only Friday night WOOF! at CC Blooms, hosted by Mitch, Tim and their gorgeous boys, where we'll be serving cocktails, food and entertainment a-plenty, including sounds from our very own furry deck spinner DJ Konasir and you can dance into the wee small hours at the hot n sweaty club night downstairs! On Sunday the lovely Jason at Electric Circus will be hosting our cabaret club, Bears at the Circus with live band, nibbles, bandaoke, hosted by our home-grown cute otter comedian Scott Agnew, and of course the ever-popular Mr Bearscots Competition! We'll also have an exclusive private Bears' Pool Party on Saturday afternoon at the beautiful Victorian Glenogle Baths...or if you prefer something a bit more genteel, perhaps a Quiz Walking Tour around town or for the hardcore cake fans, a scrummy Afternoon Tea And of course, no BearScotFest would be complete without the high point of our weekend, the blow-away club night, Bears at the Caves featuring our own hot and sexy DJs Mishka and Corkie!
Add to this lots of food and drink promos, the beautiful city, and the friendly sexy local bears and you have a weekend not to be missed! There’s something for everyone, and a great opportunity to catch up with old friends and to make some new ones – and the whole weekend is only £30.00
UPDATE: 26/8: Wow! You boys are keen! The Pool Party is now fully booked!
(We MAY have a few places available on the day, depending on dropout/no-shows.......ask at the registration desk!)
