BearScotFest 2012 News
We are delighted with the response to this year's BearScotFest with over 600 guys partying throughout the weekend in Edinburgh. It has been the busiest fest so far and plans are already going on for next year!
Our event is made possible by having a dedicated group of volunteers and having fantastic support from people in the Gay community.
This year we worked again with Gay Men's Health and on Sunday of the fest a cheque was presented to the charity for over £1,200. You can check out more details of GMH and the work they do at www.gmh.org.uk.
BearScotFest 2013 will be slightly later next year and will be from the 18th -20th October. We look forward to seeing you there for a fun, friendly weekend in Edinburgh.

BearScots Membership
We would like to thank everyone for their support as a member over the years. BearScots has had supporters from near and far. In the past 5 years we have sent out nearly 600 membership packs which have included our exclusive membership pin.
The membership subscription system has now come to an end but don't worry, as all previous and current BearScots members will become members for life. If you are not a member yet and would like to support just send your name and request to join in an email to Graham at info@bearscots.org.uk.
New look monthly bear nights!
Enjoy the fun twice a month as BearScots presents Bears in the West and Bears in the East.
Bears in the West
Head to the Underground Bar, John Street, Glasgow for the first Friday in the month for Bears in the West. You can chat up with old friends and meet new faces whilst the popular DJ Corky spins some favourite tunes on the decks. The BearScots gang will be on hand to say hello and hand out a wee sweet treat. The party gets going at 9 and will keep you entertained til the wee small hours.
Bears in the East
Keep the party going at the New Town Bar, Dublin Street, Edinburgh for the second Saturday of the month for Bears in the East. The club night now moves onto 2 floors with chill out drinks in the upstairs bar and a chance to cruise and mingle in the male only downstairs bar. The BearScots team will be there to give you a warm and friendly welcome. You can party with the bears from 10 til late.

I am a 29 year old fun loving single furry cub from South Wales. I'm a hard worker and a loyal friend. I have worked as a DJ in the past and also a bar man especially at XXL when held at The Nightingale Birmingham.
I wanted to enter Mr Bearscots because I like a challenge. I am always putting myself forward for auditions but at the moment I keep getting knocked back, I just wanted this opportunity to see if I could go on to maybe win a competition like this.
